FUN AND GAMES . . .

We've got mixed feelings about this time of year. Where we live in the Northeast it can be grueling. On the one hand, our clocks have sprung forward, hoping to drag the Spring weather with them. The days get ever more light. The likelihood of snow storms gets progressively more low.

Yet as much as we crave the feeling of the warmth of the sun, we also want to stall. We're not yet ready for what that means. We need a little bit longer to blast the oven (after all, tomorrow is Pi Day). We still have that stack of books on our night table. And so much sleep to catch up on. And indoor projects to complete.

All of this conflict begs for an escape, which makes March a natural time for fun and games. These restorative activities keep our spirits up and our wits about us. The weeks will keep rolling on, and each March will continue to bring the paradox of events: lion and lamb, misery and promise, games and fun.

tidbits...

what we’re reading / listening to / watching / noticing / thinking about / captivated by this Tuesday…

We'll trade in the traditional March madness brackets for Food52's Piglet Competition any day. Here's our favorite showdown from Round 1.

We're suckers for competition. This is like Scrabble meets Banagrams. (PS you can play it using Bananagrams tiles, too).

Are you baking pie for Pi day (3.14)?

And the winner of our unofficial 'most attention-grabbing headline of the day' competition is: Hot Wet Goobers.

Feeling competitive yourself? Turn your pie-in-the-sky idea into reality with a Scholarship for Real Life from the World Domination Summit Foundation. Applications open now.

got a tidbit? drop it here for us, and you just might see it in next week's newsletter.
